Summer Days and Summer Nights: Twelve Love Stories
Edited by Stephanie Perkins
Release date: May 17th
I wrote about this book last week in my Go Buy A Book: May New Releases post and I am still anxiously awaiting the release date.
First, buy it because of the awesome title. Second, buy it because of the adorable cover. Third, and possibly the most important, buy it because 12 love stories and 12 amazing authors. I’ve read Stephanie Perkins, Leigh Bardugo, Cassandra Clare, Veronica Roth, Jennifer E. Smith, and I have books written by the others on my TBR list.
Oh, and love stories.
Release Date: May 31st
“Not all those who wander are lost, but Aubree Sadler most definitely is on this novel’s whirlwind trip through Europe. A romantic and charming YA debut perfect for fans of Stephanie Perkins and Jenny Han.” (Goodreads)
I love Stephanie Perkins’s books and I love Jenny Han’s books (maybe even more). Also I read her author bio on goodreads and want to read her book just because she sounds awesome.
So, yes, I’m definitely looking forward to this book.
Release Date: May 17th
“What happens when the girl who’s lost everything meets the boy who has it all?” (on the cover)
The cover, the question, and the title. Need I explain more?
Release Date: May 3rd
I first learned about this book many months ago and have been waiting ever since. I love the title. I love the description. And I have an affinity to books that feature girls into science and math. I don’t know if Gottie H. Oppenheimer is into math, but the title sure suggests that. And the description talks about black holes and infinity.
Release Date: May 3rd
“When you are a politician’s daughter who’s pretty much raised yourself, you learn everything can be planned or spun, or both. Especially your future. But that was before the scandal. Before having to be in the same house with her dad. Before walking an insane number of dogs. That was before Clark and those few months that might change her whole life.” (Goodreads)
I read Morgan Matson’s Since You’ve Been Gone. It had a decent love story and a good friendship story. So I’m looking forward to reading another book written by her.
