264 pages – Paperback
Audiobook- 7 Discs (I love the reader, I can easily see her as the protagonist)
Genre: YA- Historical Fiction
This is my MOST. FAVORITE. LOVE. STORY. EVER. Honestly. This was my 7th time through the book and I swoon every time. Marianne and Phillip are as dear to me as if I wrote the book myself. If I could write a book as perfect as this one, I’d be extremely happy.
Chapter 4, when Marianne first meets Phillip, is the best meet-cute ever. No Spoilers, so I won’t give details, but the author writes Marianne in such a believable way that you can imagine yourself in her place.
I am not a second child or a twin or any of the things that Marianne is, but I can still relate, and am still drawn to her character, and I still understand all of the decisions she makes (even if I want to scream at her for being so naïve, hehe).
Go read this book, you won’t regret it!
