On the 10th Day of Christmas…
Take a holiday treat to a friend
Yesterday was Back a holiday treat. Today is share that treat with someone. There’s something about the holidays that makes people want to 1) bake and 2) give those baked goods to everyone. Maybe we all become amazing bakers in December?
Whatever the reason, we often find ourselves with a plethora of baked goods. Out kitchen counters are covered with cookies, yule logs, candies, ciders, and more. Not only are the counters covered with goodies from our friends and neighbors, they are also covered with the left over goodies we bake ourselves.
So today, take a treat to a friend. If you need a recipe, check out yesterdays cookie post.
Also, I created a 12 Days of neighborhood Christmas game, much like the halloween-time game, where you doorbell ditch a neighbor with a treat and say “you’ve been boo’d”. Doorbell ditch a neighbor, leave a treat, and let them in on the fun. Download your copy of the game!
